We are excited for your interest in Salina Child Care Association and look forward to serving your family. Please read through the entirety of this application and fill out the information below. A non-refundable fee of $30 per family is required with this completed form to be placed on the Waitlist. Payment must be made by cash or check payable to Salina Child Care Association (SCCA). This fee is applied to the first week of tuition if enrolled. This fee does NOT guarantee enrollment. We will contact you when a projected spot is available. At that time, we will arrange for you to tour the center. After your tour, you will be given 48 hours to decide if you wish to enroll. Refusal of a spot moves your position to the end of the appropriate Waitlist.

The Waitlist is maintained by age. Infant (2 weeks to 12 months), Toddler (12 months to 2.5 years), and Preschool (2.5 – 5 years). Your application will automatically move up as your child ages. Please contact us if you find alternative care and would like your name removed from the Waitlist. Mail or drop off completed form with payment to Salina Child Care Association 155 N Oakdale Ave. Suite 100 Salina, KS 67401.

Salina Child Care Center is a non-profit, community-based child care program.  We are grateful to be housed in the beautiful Donna L. Vanier Children’s Center which was built and belongs to Salina Regional Health Foundation.  Because of this connection, employees of Salina Regional Health Center will have priority on our wait list.  However, there is no discounted fee for SRHC employees.

Current community parents with children in our program will also receive priority if needing to enroll additional children.  Because of these priorities, our wait list does fluctuate and it is difficult to answer “where am I on the wait list?”  We follow Kansas child care licensing regulations and are limited to the number of children and group size in our classrooms.

Waitlist Priority is based on the following:

  1. Salina Regional Health Center employees
  2. Siblings of children currently enrolled
  3. SCCA employees
  4. Submission date of Waitlist Application and Waitlist Fee
