The first year of life is a critical time for brain development as well as social and emotional development. Our infant teachers have training to ensure they are not only providing excellent care but are also beginning the learning process that will allow each baby to begin to observe their surroundings, retain information they gain from their experiences, and form healthy attachments with others. The lead teachers plan activities for each individual child based on their developmental stage. They also work in partnership with each infant’s family to set goals and reach developmental milestones.

Infant classrooms are staffed to ensure a ratio of 3 children to 1 adult. Each infant is on their own feeding and sleeping schedule depending on their own demands, and each infant develops differently.

Infants may be enrolled as young as 2 weeks old and begin the transition to the Toddler Program at approximately 12 months old.
