Preschool Program

Preschool is the beginning of a very exciting time in the life of a young child. Days are filled with a variety of learning opportunities that become the building blocks for each child’s preparation for kindergarten. We focus on developing social skills and developing a desire for learning in each child. While it feels like we “play all day”, through play the children learn problem solving skills, develop initiative, and practice math, science, reading, and writing. Our younger preschool classrooms follow a ratio of 10 children per 1 adult.

Pre-Kindergarten Program

Our pre-kindergarten program serves children who will be entering kindergarten the following fall and are 4 years of age. Children are required to be potty trained before enrolling in the Pre-Kindergarten Program. We maintain a ratio of no more than 12 children per 1 adult.

The pre-kindergarten program provides opportunities for individualized instruction and assessment and focuses not only on academics, but also problem solving and social skills. We enjoy special guests and field trips throughout the year. Pre-kindergarten is a year of tremendous growth and development as four-year old’s turn five and become kindergarteners. The children transition from our program prepared for success in their school years to come.
